February is the shortest and sweetest month of the year! There are lots of opportunities to spend special time with your loved ones in these four weeks. Check out this list of local events and set a date with your child, partner, or friends!

Mom and Kids Superhero Night at O Town

Dress up as your favorite superhero and take the kids to O Town for special superhero sundaes and super cones! One night only: Friday, February 4th, 5:00 – 8:00PM.

Design A Valentine at Auburn Public Library

A free event for all ages! Enjoy refreshments and make a special craft for your valentine. Tuesday, Feb. 8th from 3:30 – 4:30PM in the Youth Room.

2022 Daddy Daughter Dance at Opelika Sportsplex

Choose to attend Friday, Feb. 11th, or Saturday, Feb. 12th from 6:00 – 8:00PM. Tickets are $30 per couple ($10 for each additional daughter) if you pre-register by Monday, Feb. 7th, and go up to $50 per couple for any remaining tickets after that date. Tickets include dinner, corsage/boutonniere, games, and entertainment and can be purchased at Opelika Sportsplex and Aquatic Center.

Mother and Son Blue Jean Ball at Covington Rec Center

Superhero-themed night of fun for moms and sons of all ages! Choose to attend Friday, Feb. 11th, or Saturday, Feb. 12th from 6:00 – 8:30PM. Tickets are $30 per couple ($10 for each additional son) if you pre-register by Friday, Feb. 4th, and go up to $50 per couple after pre-registration closes. Tickets include dinner, corsage/boutonniere, games, and entertainment and can be purchased at Covington Recreation Center in Opelika.

Daddy Daughter Date Night 2022 at Auburn Jr. High Gym

“Confi-DANCE” theme night for dads and their daughters ages 12 and under. Tickets are $35 for one child, and save $5 per ticket if you are bringing more than one daughter. Choose to attend Friday, Feb. 11th or Saturday, Feb. 12 from 6:30 – 9:00PM.

Sweethearts Day at Montgomery Zoo

On Saturday, Feb. 12th, buy one adult admission and receive one child admission free! A great day date for a parent and child. You can also enjoy the Pigmy Hippo Conservation Day activities going on at the zoo that day.

Valentine’s Supper Club at The Sound Wall

Enjoy a four-course meal prepared by Chef Chris Wilton and acoustic music provided by Martha’s Trouble. Tickets are $75 and there are only 24 seats available for the evening. One night only: Saturday, Feb. 12th at 7:00PM.

Valentine’s Cookie Decorating at Marriott Grand National Resort

You can reserve a cookie decorating kit that includes 12 heart shaped cookies, decorating supplies, a cookie box, and Valentine’s card supplies for $30. Boxes can be picked up at 12:00 PM on Saturday, Feb. 12th or Sunday, Feb. 13th.

Valentine’s Day Dinner at Marriott Grand National Resort

Make reservations for you and your sweetheart on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday night February 12th, 13th, or 14th and enjoy their prix fixe dinner with optional wine pairing. One glass of complimentary champagne will be served during the first course. The cost is $65 per person and reservations can be made by calling 334-737-2117.
