Reason #2:: Urgent Care for Children partners with local pediatricians!

The goal of Urgent Care for Children is not to take the place of a pediatrician, but to supplement the care of the child in after-hours and more urgent situations. All patients should have a routine pediatrician and seek care from the pediatrician during their regular business hours when possible, as they know the patient’s history and have a strong relationship with them. Urgent Care for Children does not offer scheduled immunizations, however, they do provide seasonal flu vaccines and the Covid-19 vaccine for both children and their parents! All Of their clinics currently offer sports physicals as well. As part of partnering with pediatricians along the continuum of care, they automatically send all information from a patient’s visit to his or her primary care provider, to ensure all parties are well informed.

Reason #3:: Urgent Care for Children ensures every staff member is trained to work with children!

Urgent Care for Children has on-site pediatricians and pediatric nurse practitioners to provide the
highest level of care for your children.

Urgent Care for Children is one of Alabama’s highest patient-rated pediatric urgent care facilities.

They provide coloring sheets, and cartoons for kids in their clean, comfortable waiting room.

Urgent Care for Children treats patients ages 0 to 21.

The staff is also trained by Kulture City, so parents of children with sensory needs can rest assured that they are entering a place of support. Their facilities are also equipped with such sensory amenities as: a quiet room, sensory activity bags and a mobile sensory unit.
