Our 2nd Annual Bloom:: An Event for New and Expecting Moms sponsored by East Alabama Health was hosted on March 26th, 2022 at the Bottling Plant Event Center. We were THRILLED to once again offer this event as it is very unique to our area.

East Alabama Medical Center offers a wide array of services, ranging from prenatal care to pediatrics. EAMC welcomes approximately 2,000 little miracles into the world each year. Their physicians and staff are there to provide care and services from the time you learn you are pregnant, through delivery, and beyond.
Their group of caring nurses, physicians, lactation consultants and other clinical staff are dedicated to providing high-quality, high-tech care with a personal touch. Many of the nurses in the EAMC Women’s and Children’s Center have worked there for years – they are experienced and passionate about their work and the patients they care for.

The Venue
We were thrilled to host our second annual Bloom event at the Bottling Plant Event Center. Their space provided a beautiful backdrop for the event right in the heart of Downtown Opelika.
The Bottling Plant Event Center is less than 10 miles from Auburn University’s campus, is a venue versatile enough of handling small seminars to intimate luncheons and dinner parties to large scale events up to 1,500 people.
In addition to hosting special events, we offer full-service off site catering. Our recently opened Wine Shop offers in stock selections, discounted cases, and custom orders of your favorite wines.
Panel
Each hour of the Bloom Event we had a panel covering different topics including; Pregnancy & Wellness, Labor & Delivery, Breastfeeding, and Postpartum. Each topic included expert panelists from local businesses. We asked questions that had been collected from our Auburn-Opelika Moms Team, PLUS we asked live questions from our live audience.

Thanks to our incredible sponsors we were able to give away over $3,500 in giveaways! All Bloom ticket holders had the opportunity to win giveaways. We had lots of mamas leave as winners! From a paci plush to $1,500 worth of diamonds from Diamonds Direct. The giveaways alone made this the event to attend!
